I was born and raised in a little town called Belton South Carolina. I graduated from the University of South Carolina and obtained a bachelor of arts degree.
I believe that I acquired my artistic side from my father because he used to draw and paint when he was in the military. My creative side came from my Little Grandmother. She taught me many different crafts like sewing, crocheting and knitting. She also taught me how to cook, bake and recycle things to make items for the home.
I spent most of my childhood with my grandmother and during those moments, I learned so many valuable lessons. To honor her, I’ve chosen to include her name Ella, into my business name.
My creative inspiration comes from flowers, nature and patterns and I enjoy infusing these elements into my creations.
I use a mix of materials, including but is not limited to acrylics, watercolor, alcohol/paint markers as well as various paper collage elements.
